Highlights from Recent Events

Foot Health & Diabetes Workshop – Galway (April 2025)
A focused educational event on foot care, screening, and early detection of complications, led by specialist podiatrists.

 

Teen Type 1 Diabetes Day – Waterford (May 2025)
Designed specifically for young people living with Type 1 diabetes, with youth-focused sessions on self-management and peer support.

 

Community Diabetes Screening Week – National (March–May 2025)
Over 2,500 people accessed free risk assessments and blood glucose testing across multiple counties, in collaboration with local GPs and pharmacies.
